As the foremost Nirvana fan in the St Andrews College String Ensemble it’s no surprise he's ended up in a genre-less garage band. With talent to match the complete lack of musical direction, he can only hope that practice makes progress. But as an outlet for mate-ship and pure joy, he is very happy to be not from around here.
Raised on the mild mannered streets of suburban St Louis, Joe PWE honed his musical chops playing accordion at relative’s weddings against his will and spending all his earnings on cassette singles, then the new fangled technology CDs…yes that old. The purchaser of multiple guitars without ever learning how to play them, the bass came naturally. His accidental syncopation, total lack tempo, and inability to remember lyrics adds a spontaneity that keeps NotFAH fresh and sounding like no other band. #notfahforlife
In his my own mind he is a rebel from
Belfast who is the love child progeny of Matt Berninger and Fergal Sharkey.
In fact, he is mostly a conformist triathlete who enjoys a beer with the boys, playing very average guitar and an occasional bout of ultra violence.
His inspiration and guitar shredding energy comes from a great family and an excellent group of mates.
A dynamic drummer hailing from the shady streets of land locked Loughborough. Although he first explored rhythm through Tabla at the tender age of 8, it wasn't until he turned 36 that he embraced the drum kit. Known for his infectious enthusiasm and inability to count to 4, the drumming style is unique, characterized by a ‘deliberate’ disregard for conventional timing. Drawing inspiration from eclectic sources like Fred Durst, Gene Simmons, and TLC, his drumming journey is a testament to the adage that it's never too late to march to the beat of your own drum (and piss off your neighbours in the process)
